Circa 1820; the sweetest find is this antique Georgian era fichu or lace pin, which has since had the pin removed, to be worn as a pendant  

Fashioned by hand in sturdily made in 9ct Rose Gold and fitted with a neat glassed door which opens to hold your tiny treasure... a pressed flower or precious scrap of fabric. Be-flowered with smooth peachy Coral cabochons around a frame of romantically muted half wild Sea Pearls, the centrepiece is a keepsake of braided fair hair. This piece is unusual in that it can be worn as a pendant with the loop to the back. Kept safe down the two centuries and generations since, we can only wonder at her story...
