A classic German tradition, the candle advent is lit each Sunday leading up to Christmas. Often the family will gather around the advent and sing carols, read scriptures, and tell old yuletide tales.

Our most ornate advent, the Advent House?has a nativity scene that rotates as the heat from the candles causes the rotors to spin forward. With tiny doors in the house's gable revealing two tiny trumpeting angels and a procession spinning around the Holy Family, the Advent House mesmerizes children and adults alike.
