Exclusively made for Morpho Luna, these beautiful, rustic Italian jacquard placemats are crafted from a unique mélange of natural linen yarns and yarns dyed in earthy tones at a family-owned mill dating back over three generations in Puglia in southern Italy.

The linen is woven using traditional, artisan ‘punch card’ techniques on shuttle looms guided by jacquard machines and is then finished with an intricately woven bespoke macramé bobbin ajour lace trim in a nod to Italy’s centuries-old love of traditional handmade embroidery.

Made to order to further strengthen our considered approach to production, these charming and timeless placemats are available in four earthy colours inspired by Puglia’s rich and diverse landscape providing an escape from the ordinary and bringing a touch of Italian life to your table.

As it is not mass-produced unique variations inherent to the natural beauty of the fabric and the bobbin ajour lace trim may arise; such variations are considered intrinsic characteristics of the piece and the traditional method by which it was created.

Linen gets softer with each wash. As with all linen products please allow for approx. 5% shrinkage when first washed.

Care:
• This piece can be washed by hand or machine washed at 30° on a delicate cycle
• Rack or line dry, do not tumble dry. For best results launder regularly and iron whilst slightly damp
